Heritage Portfolio at Mansfield Traquair
15 Mansfield Place
Only days to go!
We met at Lourdes Secondary and after not speaking to each other for five years we finally acknowledged one another’s existence, and Sam plucked up the courage to ask Laura out.
After a decade together, a lot of holidays, travelling the world, a year in oz, a house, a puppy and an engagement in Santorini, we’ve booked our wedding on 11 December 2021.
Originally we looked at an Ibiza wedding, a place which is special to us. Laura went on family holidays to Cala Llonga in Ibiza every year and Sam then joined the Connells for the past 10 years. However, after going to see Mansfield Traquair in January 2020, we fell in love and booked it not long after.
The last year has put all of our lives on hold and we definitely did not see this coming when we booked our wedding in January 2020. We hope that by December restrictions will still be lifted and once again we can be together drink in hand, dancing, singing, hugging loved ones; not worrying about a 2m distance, self isolation or hand washing (please still wash your hands though). We’re planning in hope that the wedding does go ahead and we will keep you all updated along the way. At the moment it is looking good.
‘Our Story’ at the moment is short and sweet. Although we have been together for over a decade we still have a lot to add to it. We can’t wait to celebrate with you all and starting writing the next chapter of our story.Back to Top
